    Traffic on Valea Oltului, Romania, is closed during the day

    For one month, between July 8 and August 9, 2024, traffic in the Olt Valley, between 06:00 and 20:00, will be stopped for the execution of the clearing works on the slope located in the protection zone of DN 7, on the sector between km 242+600 and km 250+000.

    For vehicles weighing less than 7.5 tons

    Vehicles with MTMA less than 7.5 tons can use the roads near the closed sector on DN7 as detours.

    For vehicles with a mass greater than 7.5 tons

    For vehicles with a MTMA greater than 7.5 tons, the National Road Infrastructure Administration Company (CNAIR) proposes the following detour routes to drivers:

    For the connection Bucharest – Veștem (Sibiu) and return

    Bucharest → A3 → Ploiesti → DN1A → Brașov → DN 1 → Veștem – intersection with DN 7

    For the connection Pitesti – Brașov and return

    Pitesti → DN73 – A3 → Râșnov → Brașov

    For the connection Bucharest – A1 Simeria (as well as the western, central and northern areas of the country) and return

    Bucharest → A1 → Pitesti → DN7 → Râmnicu Vâlcea → DN67 → Târgu Jiu → DN66 → Simeria → Simeria Road Junction A1

    The passage of vehicles will be carried out under the supervision of the builder, so that the risk of any unwanted event is eliminated.
